Title	Challenges in biocoating and modification of material surfaces

Abstract	Biocoating is a prominent technology for remodelling with artificial materials or implants. Recent advances in the development, design, and material characterizations of common biocoating materials as well as injectable materials for therapeutic procedures. Cutting-edge representative examples of biomaterials that mediate regenerative factors and anti-inflammatory drugs for tissue regeneration will be highlighted. Then, our perspectives on potential challenges and future development of multifunctional biocoating and injectable materials for chronic treatment or implants for destination therapies.
