The Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer (IDAC), Tohoku University, is proud to celebrate its 85th anniversary this year. Our history dates back to 1941, when our predecessor, the Research Institute for Tuberculosis and Leprosy, was established at Tohoku Imperial University. To commemorate this significant milestone, we are hosting a special anniversary symposium titled “New Frontiers in Geroscience.”
