Strengthening IDAC’s international research capacity through strategic initiatives and enhancing its global presence
The International Strategy Office, established in April 2025, advances IDAC’s international research capacity by analyzing global research trends, supporting the development of research strategies, promoting strategic international collaboration, and assisting in the acquisition of competitive research funding. The office also contributes to building a global research environment through English translation of administrative documents and enhancement of IDAC’s English-language website.

・Track and analyze global research trends.
・Support the development of research strategies to enhance international research capacity.
・Plan strategic international collaborations and strengthen partnerships with overseas institutions.
・Support the acquisition of KAKENHI and other competitive research funding, and facilitate industry–academia partnerships and startup development.
・Facilitate the organization of international symposia and enhance IDAC’s English-language website and related resources.
