“…the main reason why I want to study at IDAC is that

I found an interesting research field here.”

As my undergraduate studies was coming to an end, I considered which university I should apply to for my Master’s education. Japan jumped into my brain! Japan is one of the best countries in the world, not only because of its amazing scenery, but also for its world-class scientific research. Moreover, the main reason why I want to study at IDAC is that I found an interesting research field where I can learn new techniques and knowledge, and to explore and exchange ideas with others that share my interests. Everyone in our lab is professional and kind, and they are always patient with my questions, even tiny ones. IDAC is an international institute, and we have an English meeting every week, which gives us the opportunity to practice for future international symposiums.

As for Sendai city, it is a very nice place where I feel very comfortable to live. The climate of Sendai is predominantly moderate and the scenery is wonderful as well. My favorite thing to do is to ride my bicycle to Sendai Museum and to climb up to where Sendai Castle once stood, while enjoying the scenery along the way off course! In addition, many interesting and traditional Japanese events take place in the vicinity of Sendai Castle. Kotodai-Koen is also another place I frequently visit. People hold many great Festivals such as the Sendai Aoba Festival, Music Festival, Thai Festival and so on, and this is another reason why I really enjoy the life in Sendai!
