| Abstract |
I will present our recent analyses on the mechanism of nuclear centration of the C. elegans and sea urchin embryos. By combining quantitative microscopy and theoretical modeling, we provide evidences for cytoplasmic pulling model, in which the nucleus is pulled from force generators residing throughout the cytoplasm. |
