Smart Aging: A shift from the traditional concept of Gerontology to modern Aging Science

Gerontology is a multi-disciplinary field, developed in the mid-20th century to provide a para-medical approach to the well-being of elderly individuals. In this symposium, the world’s top researchers from different fields such as natural, technological, and social sciences will share: 1) the latest understanding of the Aging of individuals and society; 2) the cutting-edge technology and strategy to tackle these problems; and finally, 3) the conceptual framework and agenda to overcome the common challenge for the modern Aging societies.
