INTRODUCTION
The Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer (IDAC) stresses the importance for individuals to maintain physical and mental vigor in a "super-aging" society, and to grow healthier and stronger as a whole society. It is also undeniable that the world's aging population is rapidly increasing, and as the population ages and birthrates decline, a reduction in the workforce is undoubtedly inevitable. In order to maintain a healthy balanced society, it is imperative that the elderly continue to be part of a productive and vigorous society. We hope that at the conclusion of the symposium, our discussions will open a new world of possibilities in smart aging scientific research for many years to come.
