Abstract The pathogenesis of psychiatric disorders are associated with genetic and environmental factors. In order to investigate genetic-environmental interactions involve in pathogenesis of psychiatric disorders, integration of basic and clinical approaches is essential. We have formed a group to develop innovative research area studying “Micro-endophenotype” of psychiatric disorders base on the findings of molecular, cellular and circuit levels, as an interface between basic and clinical studies. This seminar will focus on the regulatory mechanism of fear memory formation of murine post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) model, as an example of our approaches to micro-endophenotypes of psychiatric disorders.
