World records of longest survival of an animal experiment for the totally implantable ventricular assist device using rotary blood pump (EVAHEART)

EVAHEART, the newly developed rotary blood pump for ventricular assist device was implanted into the goats for the endurance test and anti-thrombus test. and achieved the world record longest survival over 493 days for totally implantable ventricular assist device animal experiment.
Longest survival showed durability and anti-thrombogenicity of this blood pump, so, early commercial approval was recommended.
