Invention of the new diagnosis machine for arterial baroreflex system(Jpn Pt Appl, 2006-271105)

There is no methodology to diagnose the baroreflex sensitivity of an artery, though several paper reported the baroreflex sensitivity of the heart in the hypertensive patients. Quantitative evaluation of the arterial baroreflex system was recorded by the use of the changes of the pulse wave velocity in respond to the changes of the blood pressure. Prevention of the metabolic syndrome will be achieved by the use of this newly invented machine.
